We’ve come a long way since the days of Reefer Madness. We survived the worst of the War on Drugs to see California pass the first medical marijuana initiative in 1996, followed by 22 other states and the District of Columbia to date. The wave of legalizing all adult use began with Colorado and Washington 2012, with Oregon and Alaska adding fuel to the trend last year. Momentum is on the side of growing freedom. Nature’s Gift Shop is proud of Colorado’s leadership in the legalization movement and excited to see vast positive change on the horizon for an increasing number of Americans.
